Self-catering
The rooms are either mixed or separated by gender, depending on your booking. The reception has your details, so when you arrive, just tell them who you are and that you belong to semesterkur. They will show you your room.
Two weeks before the trip, we will send you the link to the room allocation by email. You will also find the link on the product page. There, you will usually find your room number as well. On the day of arrival, please check the room allocation on Gruppenplan, as there may have been changes.
Please remember that registration in your preferred group can only be done two weeks before the start of the trip.
There is no luggage storage at the hostel before check-in. If you arrive early, just keep your luggage with you and relax somewhere. If you ask at reception, they might be willing to store your luggage somewhere, but this is not guaranteed.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available in the hostel: ask at the reception for more details.
Bedding & Towels
Bedding and towels are provided by the hostel.
Sanitary Facilities
There are shared showers as well as a laundry area where you can wash your clothes yourself.
Equipment
There is a space where you can store your surfboard, if you bring your own. You can also leave your equipment at the surf school on the beach so you don’t have to carry it back to the hostel every day.
Leisure
The hostel has a recreation area with table tennis where you can relax.
Our camp includes surf lessons and surf equipment from the surf school of world champion Abel Lago! Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, there’s a course for you!
Wing, wind, and kite surfing can be booked additionally.
Please note that this activity is very demanding, and only a few people can manage it continuously for more than 90 minutes. Due to the high cost of equipment and the need for supervision, it is not rented out to beginners. However, the equipment is included in the course fees.

Check-in opens at 4:30 PM — just head to the reception and they’ll show you your room!
Pub Xeixo is just a five-minute walk from the hostel. We’ll meet there and have a drink to get to know each other better!
Tomorrow is your first surf day, so get a good rest and we’ll see you in the morning!
Make yourself a good breakfast — it’s the first day of surfing!
Our surf school partner for the week is Abel Lago Watersports. If there are any changes to the schedule, you’ll be informed on site.
You’ll be tired after your first surf lesson, so don’t forget to refuel before the afternoon session! You can either head back to the hostel or try one of the cafés and restaurants in Louro.
After lunch, you can either hit the waves again or relax on the beach – the choice is yours!

Louro is small but full of charm and has some great spots to grab a drink! Take a stroll along the Praya-San Francisco waterfront and stop by the 'Café Bar San Francisco' if you like.
Day three — you should be getting the hang of it by now!
If the start time changes, you’ll be informed on site to make sure you catch the best waves.
Rest up before the afternoon!
Take it easy or try windsurfing, wing surfing, or kite surfing!
Climbing Monte Louro is a fantastic way to admire the sea and nature. The hike from the Area Surf House takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. Don’t forget to take a photo at the top!

Rest up before the afternoon!
We’ll meet at Praia de Louro for some beach yoga. Don’t worry if you’ve never done yoga before — everyone is welcome!
You could explore Muros, located right on the coast next to Louro, home to the beautiful Iglesia de San Pedro. Monbus runs buses approximately every two hours, or you can take a taxi.

Day 5 — are you ready?
Be at the surf school by 10:30 AM; now’s the time to show what you’ve learned!

Well done, everyone! Surf school is pretty exhausting, but you made it. Feel free to take the boards out again or just relax on the beach. The choice is yours.

Tonight we’re doing a bar tour along the harbor of Muros! We’ll meet at 7:40 PM at the bus stop since the bus leaves shortly after. Remember, you’ll need to share a taxi for the return trip.
